What a weekend with FINGERS and the WhaleShark!!

Post by finsupnorth »

Up in little Tomahawk, WI for the Fall Ride, in a quiet little bar on Nokomis, the place was jumping with Erik and the Whaleshark and Fingers....a few college guys from Eau Claire came rolling in with grass skirts, hats, and all....I think they were happy to see Fingers and talk a little about the stories he could tell. Erik and Tatiana were the best and Greg "Fingers" Taylor was incredible as well. The WhaleShark has a real career and will be awesome to see when he opens for Jimmy in California (too bad I can't go)....I think we should work on getting him to start for Alpine.

Fingers was so nice and we got many pictures together. We were dancing on the bar and pouring shots down his throat, I think he had a good time.....I even got a kiss goodbye.........I will post more later along with pictures of our great time! Gotta let the hubby log into his fantasy football now.

Glad you had phun! :P :D :P :D Wish I could have made it but the ultrasound on Friday was pretty important - the Dr. was worried that my wife was measuring small and they also had some concerns about the kidneys :( Happy to report though that everything is AOK and looking good for a late Nov. delivery :D

I tried letting everyone know it was going to be a good time! There were not many people there and most of them were bikers who didn't know how anyone was anyway. We had the whole night to chat with him and just talk about whatever.....Greg promised to stay in contact....they will probably be back there next summer or maybe even closer to where I live near Stevens Point...

Get them to play at Witz End in Stevens Point and I'll be there for sure. I'm from Stevens Point and was just up there yesterday working on some duplexes my dad owns.

Sounds good Wade, I will see what I can do. We are in the process of joining the PH club in Point. The Order of the Sleepless Knights. I figure that would be a good welcome into the club if I could book the Whaleshark and/or Fingers sometime. Hell, I'm ready to go to Maui to see the whaleshark again...Erik and Tatiana were so cool! Lots of fun. You know, in October they are playing a private party for Cybil Shepperd...and to think I turned them down on the offer to tour with them....I would love to see who is all at that party.

Hey Steph! We are too close not to get together soon. We will have to do something this winter to break up the long cold days......as for Fingers and the Whaleshark, it is possible......Playing in Point or somewhere for sure next summer, you can stay at my house, plenty of room! As for Alpine, I am working on getting the Whaleshark to talking with our bus group guy to have him play in the parking lot, would be awesome if Fingers came with also, but I don't know if he would just because all the people who would recognize him. You never know though...if so, we are getting our tickets next to them so maybe we can get backstage! --you never know......

Don't get me wrong Fingers, I would never try using you to get backstage because you are way awesome.....in all reality, it would just be fun to have you there and listening to YOUR stories!

As for the Whaleshark, TaTiana and Erik are such cool people...you all should have a chance to meet them....for any California parrotheads, they play often in your area....lucky!!!! Check them out! Gosh-I sound like their groupy.....yup! I am :D
