I dream regularly of hanging out with Jimmy and / or the Coral Reefer Band... some quite bizarre, but most just sorry to wake up from.

In last night's dream, I was vacationing at a house on Lake Geneva WI, and our group walked over to a nearby piano bar for some drinks. In walks Jimmy, I flip out with excitement, I tell him drinks are on me, so he joins our group at the bar. We drank, talked, sang, and laughed for a while, then he asks if we want to go out on his boat. Heck ya! We headed out to the dock under the Harvest Moon, climbed aboard, and off we went! We zipped over the glassy water, leaving shimmering diamonds in our wake and drinking in the crisp refreshing air... and I woke up. :(

Nothing too exciting, but cool all the same! I figure I can't be the only one... anyone else care to share? Any recurring?

Once I was standing in high tide that flooded a town, and Buffett came up in a boat. It was about 6 months ago so I can't recall the whole thing. Plus the once in a whiles such as the concert started but I'm still trying to make it inside. Once I made it to the gate as the show was over. Other timjes I hear the concert but can't find the venue. One dream I was the only one in the audience. A personal concert!

Geeze, I have issues.

I dream about Jimmy at least once a month and some times more often than that. I actually had a dream/nightmare about him last night :( . There were rumors he'd been shot and killed so I ran around the whole time trying to find some answers. How horrible is that!!

That’s pretty bad. I bet you were quite relived when you woke up.

I had a dream with Jimmy in it not to long ago. I was at a beach sitting in a fold out chair relaxing and Jimmy was there doing the same right in front of me! I have had many weird dreams that make absoulty no sense, but this one with Jimmy was not one. It could actually happen. Then again, there was another one I had not to long ago that was a little out there. My mom had brought a box home from work full of things coworkers no longer wanted that she said I could have. In it was VHS tape of some Muppet special (dreams never specify) and three audio cassettes: A-1-A, Volcano and a soundtrack to some movie (again, dreams never specify). Weird mix of stuff…

Thank goodness I'm not the only one! I had a dream last week that I was at a concert on the lawn of a baseball field (probably due to the fact that my *first* JB concert was at Jacob's Field). At some point during the concert, Jimmy hit a baseball out into the crowd and I dove on the ground and got it. Then I just started bawling tears of joy because I thought I was the luckiest person in the world to have ended up with the ball that BUFFETT hit. It was one of those dreams where you wake up and feel a tremendous sense of disappointment when you realize it didn't really happen.

I had a dream about a year ago that I was at a house on Nokomis, an actual real place that I remember when I was little, it happened to be Jimmy's house and we were running through the yard trying to find tickets like an easter egg hunt, next thing you know, I am in this huge walk-in cooler and found his watch, then all of a sudden, he walks into the cooler and catches me in it....i woke up then.....I like to think that instead of calling the cops on me, we partyed until dawn and played Whales Tales around a camp fire like we used to do in high school.....

I also had a dream, or vision, of meeting him in a small familiar bar that I grew up next to.....the funny and very strange thing is, that actually happened this past weekend, only it wasn't Jimmy, it was Fingers......maybe that means that there is hope for all of us that our dreams are closer than we think....keep trying to make them happen....I have a feeling that I will someday meet him and at least get to say hi and have him acknowledge me....we will see... :D

I daydream of meeting Jimmy, but never have done so at night; can't figure why!
I came so close though. In April, I called Jay Leno ( went to high school with him) and asked if he could help me get tickets to Great Woods when Jimmy was on the show on the 28th. Jay said he couldn't, but invited me out to be in the audience and then meet Jimmy. I COULDN'T GO
Jay was a doll and sent me a bunch of stuff autographed by Jimmy and the guitar pick he used that night, but I still think about what it would have been like to meet him!! 8)

Thats what I was thinking of, I remember him mentioning something about an old friend that called and asked for tickets to see Buffett

My dream was somewhat disappointing. During a Buffett concert I had somehow snuck into an area that I wasn't supposed to be and I was very close to the stage. Well, next thing you know, Jimmy is yelling "Hey you - get out of here!" Part of me was sad because he yelled at me, but part of me was like Woohoo Jimmy just talked to me from the stage!!

....had a Jimmy dream about a month ago that I still remember clearly. Hubby and I were on our way down to Key West in our boat. We stopped in Key Largo at a marina (Marine Del Mar) we have stayed at before but not with the boat, we drove. Anyway, we were at their tiki bar, the kind with the roll up plastic that makes it open air, and a guy comes in and starts handing out little passes to the dozen or so people that are hanging out. He hands me mine and says, "Y'all be here this time tomorrow night and there will be a surprise." We were supposed to leave the next day but decided to stay cuz we were so curious...jeez this is long. We showed up the next night, and who shows but Bubba and Mac! I croaked....anyway, it goes on and on, but the kewl part is that Jimmy asks if we have a boat there and we point to it out the window and he likes it because it's a sportfish with a tuna tower and we give him a ride because he wants to ride in the tower. Talk about disappointment come morning!! :D :D

Yeah, Jay did mention me that night(I'm Candy, not Janet). He said on air that I had called asking if he (Jay) could get me a CD. Of course, being the Parrothead I am, I had had the CD since the day it came out. I stayed up late to see the show, and was also taping it for my husband who had gone to bed. I was completely surprised when Jay mentioned me, not only at the beginning, but then again to Jimmy! I had the tape cued to the right spot so that just before we left for work the next morning, I surprised my hubby with it!!
AND, not only was Jay nice enough to send me the care package, but he also called me at the school where I teach to see if I had received it! Boy, was our secretary surprised - she gave him a hard time because she didn't believe it was really him. It was a lot of fun!!! :P

Thats cool! I remember that!

However, for that Leno show, I had a friend trying to hunt down Hugh Jackman for me, rather than Buffett (but she didnt get to hook up with him :( ) ....... (I know most of you will not be surprised at that one! - I saw him rehearsing on tv for his musical in New York, and was nearly enough for me to sell my car to get the extra $ to buy tix!)

oh, and I do dream of things - mine mainly involve my friends in the USA rather than anything else!

(and sydney harbour being filled with orange milk :o  )

Orange milk??? :o

I think it's a Lexus commercial where the boss is leaving town and asks the employee to babysit Mr Jangles... then they show the employee speeding around in the speed boat with the big hull, named "Mr Jangles".

Anyway, I awoke this morning after cruising along in a boat just like that one with a friend of mine and a bunch of her coworkers - no one I know or have ever seen before, but heck they were fun! I was impressed at her scoring such a cool boat to cruise us around in! Then we came to a dilemma of which Buffett cd to listen to - there were a stack of them, and 1 guy wanted A1A, a girl wanted SYKBH, and my friend wanted Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays. The argument was heating up, so I said "let's let Jimmy decide." POOF! I was instantly walking along a fence, and Jimmy was walking on the other side, and I was telling him "well Joe wants A1A, and Susie wants SYKBH..." Jimmy's putting a lot of thought into it, and giving me pros and cons to them, and we come to a gate. He's like "awwww hell with it", grabs a guitar that just so happens to be leaning there, comes through the gate, out on the pier that is now there, everyone in the boat cheers as we climb aboard... and I wake up. :(

This is my 2nd "me and Jimmy in a boat" dream within the week... I can only hope it's some sorta sign!

I had a Jimmy dream last night (first one in ages), so I searched up this old thread. Cool dreams, Tiki!!! 8)

In my dream last night, I was on a boat at night on this fast-moving river with a bunch of fun party people (like BN'ers). We were going past Jimmy's pier, and the place where Jimmy had a concert that time, and another place where Jimmy did something else, according to people on the boat (informal "tour guides" who lived there and knew lots of stories.)

Suddenly, Frank and I see this stuffed teddy bear floating in the water and we get the boat over to it, and it's this missing teddy that was stolen from a memorial at a cemetery nearby that was near and dear to Jimmy's heart. We get it out of the water, and everybody says to take it to the children's cemetery, which is a couple more stops down the river. When we do, Jimmy is there to thank us for returning it and shakes our hands, offers us backstage passes. Boy, we were thrilled!

Must be something to do with the recent school deaths or something.

One of my weirdest Jimmy dreams!
