I live on the MS Gulf Coast & our club, Towns Around Biloxi Parrothead Club, could present the ((((BIG)))) check to USM Gulf Coast. Let me know what you think? Ms Peets was a wonderful, gracious lady! I would also like to contribute via BN.

That's terrific, Tequila Sheila......I was so hoping someone from BN lived near the college....and could make the presentation. My check's going out to PHAW on tomorrow's mailboat!!!

How do I make out the check????

As far as checks go......I think we ought to decide if we're giving it for the scholarship fund or not. That way the checks and be made payable to it instead of me and then y'all can get the donation deduction ~ not that that is the number one concern but something to think about. Or it can be made payable to me and I'll send one big check from those received plus what comes in through paypal. Makes no nevermind to me.....

And you guys are "welcome" but no thanks is needed.......I'm just being the middle man for a bunch of great, caring phruitcakes!!!!

Thanks PHAW!

Are you following the poll and splitting the donations between the two, or just one lump sum to the scholarship?

Are you doing a set amount per person?

Any decision on the deadline?

Let us know.

Update - $90 so far via paypal - WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO

Tiki - as far as your questions, I guess it is majority rule so when people send in their amounts.....please specify which charity you want it to go to. How does Oct. 10th sound as a deadline? That's about 2 weeks...

Count me in! I gave to the hospice when Jimmy's Dad died, so I'm for the scholarship this time.

PHAW - incoming.

Quick question...

What "type" do I need to enter in the PayPal form? I'm leaning towords "quasi-cash" but I'd rather be sure before I finish the transaction.

CS - I know I've already answered your question but if anyone else has the same one......I usually use the "service" option.
