They would gladly pay you back the postage money. It would be no problem at all.well duh wrote:Too true, CS -- we got our refunds, but apparently our convenience was just too much for a big business like TM to bear. Wonder what they'd think of my billing them postage for mailing the money back to the people to whom we sold the tickets?
However, you would have to pay a $5 shipping charge, a $3 handling charge, a $4 processing charge, a $3 charge for printing the check, and a $2 charge for printing the address label on the envelope. Additionally, you would be assesed a convenience charge of $3 for every cent that is repaid to you.
I say go for it!

Yeah the west coast has had some bad luck and bad timing with Jimmy...
He used to come every fall up until the fall of 98 then decided to switch to spring which turned into the Spring of 2000...so it was like a year and a half between shows...then he came spring of 2001 a great show in San Jose on St Patricks Day...then went back to fall in 2002 so again another year and a half went by and NO JIMMY...and now the family tragedy. I had tickets to his fall show in Vegas in 2000 and that weekend I had a family tragedy so I know what its about...just frustrated as a Buffett fan.

Does anyone have any historical perspective here? Is it standard for ticketmaster to automatically refund whether or not there will be a rescheduled show? Anyone know if this has happened before with various artists?
