Well there's still the chance that the NL Wild Card team could beat the Yankees in the World Series so it's still worth watching

Don't get me wrong. . I want the Yankees to win, but after the Yankees/Sox series. . The whole thing seems anti-climatic.
I think we should have won last night. . could have won. . (Jason. . you are not listening to me!!!). . .but it's only one game.
Everyone do your anti-rain dance. . off to the game. Brrr!!!

Well, that was Mr. NJ's pick anyway.
I'll comment
after the first 3 innings.

Spoken like a true gambler

Ok, well, I'm sticking with my original winner but canceling my MVP award.
Mariano maybe? Pettite?
Hey, if I pick them all, bet I'll be right!
And someone ask Wells if he kisses his momma with that mouth.

Yankees in 5 or 6.
If it goes to 6 and Pettitte pitches again for the win, then he's got my vote for MVP.
If they finish it up in 5, I'm
hoping Jeter can do something MVP-able (for my daughter who has the
biggest crush on him

) but my safer bet would be Hideki Matsui!

MVP Matsui.
After last night, I agree with...
Matt
It will be 5 if they get Soriano out of leadoff...

Yanks in 6.
I'm kind of thinking like NJPP - every day I change my pick of MVP. Right now I'd pick Pettite or Matsui. I felt so bad for Pettite, one out to go and losing his shut out.

And because of the hero of Game 7 of ALCS. Still a helluva game though that he pitched

That's
prolly why Pettitte kinda patted his shoulder as if to say 'don't worrry about it'!
