12lb and Palmetto have it covered pretty well. You may want to check on House of Blues, sometimes they have someone cool. Camillia Grill is where Jimmy says is his favorite Cheeseburger, the street car ride gives a little flavor of NO. The only other thing is be careful not to explore if you are in the Quarter at night. Walk in and out in the main areas and don't ask for directions unless it is an officer. Great place and a really nice this time of year. Enjoy.

12 lb. Nestle Crunch and PalmettoSon covered some great spots for food. Throw in the Redfish Grill. Copeland's is a chain but this is where it all started - it's good. The Palace is also very fine. I could go on and on - you won't go hungry unless you want to. I go to Margaritaville regularly for the atmosphere - the drinks are nothing special. Perfect Margarita is very strong - I guess that makes it perfect. Do go have an original Hurricane at Pat O'Briens and be careful. They are so smooth that you keep ordering and before you know it you're acting just like the natives. Laissez les bon temps roulez! Headed to the Coonass Caribbean tomorrow for some R&R. Wait a minute - we go there every weekend - ya'll come pass a good time.
I belong in the past, I was not meant to last, and I hope I get there one day!

Margaritaville-New Orleans/Halloween Weekend---My Review
I want to thank everyone for all their advice on things to do and try. . I tried to hit some of the spots but 2 days was definitely not enough. The 1st place I stopped on Friday was the Margaritaville Cafe. I settled on the "Incommunicado". Needless to say, I took a break from alcohol after that....boy was that strong. The Joan of Arc statue was pretty cool by theFrench Market as was the Louie Armstrong sounding band playing. Then it was off to Johnny's Po Boy for a Calimari Po Boy...that I liked. Finally we hit bourbon street and settled at my favorite bar on the street. The Tropical Isle--very nice people there and the free jukebox with a bunch of Buffett discs really got the weekend off to a good start.. Hit Mother's for Dinner and had another Po Bo. But the best part of my meal there was the cup of Turtle Soup i had. I highly recommend it. Then it was back to Bourbon until 4 AM for the craziness of Halloween. I ws there all night and finally left and was at Harrah's at 5 AM. Luckily my beer only cost $30 Dollars
Saturday we went to Jackson Square. What a beautifull peaceful place that was. Did a lot more walking and ended up at the Gumbo Shop for dinner and then back to the tropical isle and other hangouts until 3 Am.....
