December 20 is the tentative date for a Atlanta Christmas Phlocking.

It is hoped to be at "Vortex" (hope I got that right) at Little Five Points.

Creeky darlin. Several people can not make it on that day. Including myself and Cuervo. The best date is either Dec 26 or 27.

oh . duh ... ok .. I just used the date that was on the evite

I don't know if I have anything planned for those dates - I think I am heading up to Nth GA after Christmas .......

I got mine already!

Maybe you should go back to the evite and put down the dates you CAN make it? and if that includes Boxing day (26th or 27th) tho, I know that is close to Christmas. Boxing Day here is a public holiday and a big deal for families to be together - not sure if that is the case in the USA

So how did it get the name Boxing Day?

Far as the dates go, the 20th was the most popular according to those that voted but it can be changed. Just let me know.

I was wrong. We can be there on the 20th. Cuervo I do not believe will be in Atlanta at that time. So just keep it the 20th since it was the most popular. HOWEVER, the "vote" did not give any dates AFTER Christmas. So, maybe we should revote to INCLUDE dates after.

Okay. Instead of changing the evite around again, why doesn't everybody just respond on this thread. List which days in the span from Dec. 19th to Dec. 27th would work for you. We'll tabulate and figure out which one will work for the most people. The deadline for weighing in will be Tuesday morning so that those trying to purchase plane tickets can do so.

I know Cuervo said he didn't think he would be in town at all until the 21st and then it would be hard to get together. I think he said 22,23 were ok and then 26-28.

Well, seeing as we're already past the deadline I set earlier this week it looks like the 26th is going to work for the most pholks that responded. So the 26th it is for sure and for certain!
