Found only one copy of Vegas at a Wal-Mart and picked it up.
I noticed at least one gap so far.
The setlist that is included is what Buffett had written down to play, not what was actually played. The complete accurate tracklist isn't written out anywhere on the packaging which is a little strange.
Glad I was able to get at least one of the two shows, but I'm really looking forward to Auburn. I've listened to my iTunes copy of that one over and over again, but having the actual CD will be better.

It's crazy all across the nation people seem to say they saw one copy at their store. I picked up the only copy at my Wal-Mart tonight. Something sounds phishy!! Best Buy usually comes through on those things.
iTunes Baby, iTunes...

I ordered my "physical" copies from Mailboat Records and I figure they'll get to me in due time. But I couldn't wait, so on September 28 I downloaded both shows from iTunes (they were available for the Mac early on). But since October 16, both Auburn and Vegas have been available on iTunes for Windows, too. If you need your live Buffett fix that bad, then go for it. Is it worth it? Duh. Its Buffett live. Yes it is worth every cent. iTunes is showing that I've played Las Vegas 12 times and Auburn 13 times. That's pretty incredible since I don't listen to my iPod in the car that often and considering there are 2000 other songs on my iPod. Oh, and did I mention you can burn them to a CD directly from iTunes. The only thing you are missing is the booklet. And from the sounds of it, not many other people have the booklet anyway.
Not to sound like a commercial, but head on over to
www.itunes.com and in less than 15 minutes you'll be enjoying the sweet sounds of Great Heart.

Mailboatrecords.com is now posting the following statement:
Jimmy Buffett Live! 10/28/2003
"Live In Auburn, WA" and "Live In Las Vegas, NV" are released today! Unfortunately, due to some shipping problems, it may take until the end of the week for the product to appear in the stores. Your patience is appreciated."

I got the one and only copy of the LV show at my local WalMart.
As I looked at the packaging I thought it was interesting that there is not a full song listing on the outer packaging (or an accurate one on the inside). Can't decide if this appeals more to casual fans because all the usual SYKBH are listed, or the more dedicated fans because we already know what we are getting.
