Yep, I saw it. I caught SNL just as Weekend Update started. I was just about to leave the room when I heard the name Jimmy Buffett. Then out came Horatio Sans impersonating! Well, it was some what funny. But we all know that Jimmy weighs just a little less and has a much higher voice. If I were the SNL writer I would have picked someone else for the part and would have put some of the nautical terms in his lines (i. e. “We’re gonna set sail”). I just shows that whoever wrote this does not know Jimmy that well. And the three songs he sang all to the tune of Margaritaville… Is it just me, or are the trying to say that the only thing Jimmy ever did was Margaritaville? Either that or their trying to say all his songs sound the same. Could have been much better had the writer knew a little more about JB.

im sorry but that was terrible. SNL is really down in the dumps right now and that impersonation was the pits. i dont think that i will be watching new episodes of snl anymore. i did recently come across jimmy playing snl in the late 70's. that was great!

I caught it (a miracle that I was still awake that late!). Not a very GOOD skit, but at least it was timely. It was ALMOST as good as the "cow toots" segment. 8)

I'll agree with you there. And since when does he weigh 300 lbs? :-?
When he carries his money.

I fell asleep at 1210 am during some musical guest. Woke up 110 am. I guess I missed it.

Sorry everyone, but I thought it was hilarious. Sure it was over the top, but that has and will always be SNL. I will agree that SNL may not be at it's best right now, but just think back to the days of Anthony Michael Hall and anything is comic genius. Plus they help remind everyone what a complete moron currently resides in the White House.

The Rod Roddy thing was in poor taste, but I enjoyed the Kobe joke.

Aww man I missed it. I don't watch the new SNL's anymore because I think it kinda sucks. I think the best were the ones with Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, etc.

And by the way, I would think that Lorne Michaels would do something about Horatio Sans and Jimmy Fallon, cause every time I have watched a new one with them they can't do a skit together without laughing. I guess it is funny sometimes though

I loved the fact they couldn't get through it without laughing. Reminded me of Tim Conway and Harvey Korman loosing it, during a sketch on the Carol Burnett Show. BTW, I'm going to feel really old if someone replies, "Who?".

I said it before and I will say it again, Haoration Sans(sp?) is one of the unfunniest people I have ever had to watch. His impersonations always s***, he tries so hard to be like Chris Farley. Anytime He is in a skit I know it will not be funny just like the skits that Collin Quinn did. I love SNL but ever since Will Farell left it just isnt the same, looks like we are in for another SNL dry spell.

I hadn't seen SNL since Dennis Miller left Weekend Update but was over at a friends who happened to have it on. Best as I can tell, I haven't missed anything...

Gotta Agree with the majority on this one. Only people laughing were the actors IN the skit.

Unfunny and poorly written!
