I have got a question for the board - are people planning to purchase more than 1 or 2 of the new live releases (Las Vegas, Auborn, Cincinnati, Boston). I love Buffett, but there really is not that big of a difference between these CDs. Most of the songs are the same (same arrangement) - a few different songs (perhaps) and I acknowledge that the between song banter is different.

Just curious.

Now it would be GREAT if Mailboat released shows from previous tours. I'd die for a copy of Cincinnati 2000!

I will buy any live CD's that he puts out. Each one of his concerts is differnet. For instance, Auburn has It's My Job, and Vegas has The Wino and I Know. Both songs you have to have!!

I bought the first 2, but if the others have screwed up release dates like these, there's no way i'm buying them. Plus, i wasn't really impressed with the quality of them, some RM bootlegs sound better.

Disappointed he isn't releasing Alpine next as he mentioned in an interview that they had been working on it. That was hands down one of the best shows I've seen or heard.

hmmm, good question. i think it would be great to have a thread devoted to just rating the cds . so thta would help people decide. i know ill buy the cincy one since i am from cincinnati. havent purchased the two that were just released but plan to in the next few days.

I know Im gonna end up getting them all. I always do when it has to do with Buffett. That, and I really wanna have Boomerang Love live!!

I am almost done listening to the Live from Washignton CD, and I really couldn't be happier. I will end up buying every single one, but like I do with the older stuff, I won't get it all at once. I'll probably buy one a year or so. That way I won't run out of new material to listen to when he stops recording and touring.

I'll only buy one (today hopefully during lunch)

I'll buy whichever ones get released whenever they DO get released. So far the only one I've got is Las Vegas. (Got it yesterday). I haven't been able to find the one from Auburn, WA yet.

Every single one they put out, I only hope they release some old shows on cd, not just the 2003 shows.

i'm still waiting for stores to carry the first 2 by me!!!but yeah, i'll buy the majority of them as long as there is diversity in the setlist.

Against better judgement I'll probably end up buying them all - the setlist isn't diverse enough for me to justify the costs. My intentions are right now to just buy the Auburn CD. If that one is not available and Las Vegas is I'll buy that just so I can get my fix. I will end up with Auburn someway somehow though. As far as the other CD's go, as a wise man once said, " only time will tell."

Guess I'll go for two each. One for me and one for my mom who is a closet Buffett fan, but bless her, she loves a margarita with me and my wife when she is with us.
