But I don't personally know anyone going...

CMA tickets are not available for sale to the general public. CMA members have the opportunity to purchase them, and country radio and magazines give a bunch away. So you'd either have to know a member (hello - mine went completely unused ) or have won a pair.

I do know a number of people who are going, some of whom are Buffett fans if not full blown Parrot Heads. I think you'll see that a number of the artists in attendance are Parrot Heads themselves.
