Think Amy Lee will see a bump in cd sales this week? Good for her!
Today I bought Maui on my Mind from Amazon. Picture books are so much nicer than all those pesky words.

I'm interested to know what you think of that once you're able to wrap your ears around it,
No Depression magazine seemed to give it a so-so review.

To be honest, I haven't been all that impressed with the streaming samples I've heard off Scott's site, but I'm going to reserve judgment until I can give the entire record a few spins. I like the new songs I've heard live (or at least recorded live) so I am cautiously optimistic. I'll let you know what I think in a few days.

This comes through a special deal No Depression magazine is currently offering for subscriptions where you can pick from any number of CDs and this DVD. A must for any fan of the folks Townes influenced such as Guy Clark, Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, etc. and of course, fans of Townes himself.
