I got the Secondhand Lions DVD for V-Day, what a great movie. And I just picked up Live in Cincinatti at Best Buy today. They had every one of the new live CD's there!

I just recieved a three single (vinyl 45s) box set from Southern Culture on the Skids that is one of the nicest jobs of packaging I've seen in a while. Now, I just need to break out the ol' dusty turntable.

I just ordered two versions of the new R.E.M. single "Animal", they contain live versions of some classic R.E.M. tunes performed on their most recent tour. Too bad this isn't available in the U.S. (nor was their last single, "Bad Day") but SirenDisc.com works quite nicely and I can't complain at all about their prices.

I picked up Lost in Translation on DVD Friday. I never saw it in theaters because it simply never came to my region of NC. I rented it the night before and loved it so much I just had to have the DVD the next day. Thankfully, it was at least recognized at the Oscars last night (Best Screenplay) amid the equally deserving sweep by the Lord of the Rings.

I've listened to them and I'd have to agree, although The Road Less Traveled is my favorite.
