With the exception of the issue of Uncut (and the CD that comes with it), I dug all these out of the bargain bin at Schoolkids Records in Raleigh.

It was just released on vinyl this week as well. I'm glad I attended one of the IMAX screenings back in October. Filling in more holes thanks to the budget bin. The passing of "Dangerous" Dan Toler earlier this week put me in mind of Gregg Allman and how I don't have any of his solo records save for Low Country Blues. As for Hemispheres, it's always been one of my very favorite Rush albums. I've owned it on vinyl for years but have never gotten around to picking up it up CD.

Well this is not very sophisticated, but many of my students have never heard of Helen Keller, so I just bought The Miracle Worker, and I will be showing it once a week. I think it will be very inspiring for them to see her story. Our unit is Against All Odds, so it fits ...
