Our club had a watch party. We talked the manager of a local sports bar into letting us watch the show on one of the big screens. There were about 20 of us. When Jimmy won we all jumped up and started screaming. The other people in the bar watching football thought we were nuts! But we didn't care, our hero just won his first award!!! It was really cool to get to see it with a bunch of other Parrot Heads!

I also have to give a thumbs-up to Alan for giving Jimmy the spotlight when accepting the award. That was very classy!

It was a great night for Jimmy and all Buffett phans. I watched the majority of the show and he got some serious face time. Almost every audience shot included him and his specs and his beak. Hopefully the rest of the world will realize this guy can make some pretty frickin good music.

I had all of the TVs in my local watering hole on CBS. When someone asked the bartender if he could watch a football game the bartender told him no. I told her to let him and she relented but he decided to watch the awards. Everybody thought I had gone insane when the anouncement came.

Jimmy looked like he was having a blast last night! I was sort of disappointed that he didn't come out on stage in shorts and t-shirt-- atleast he was barefoot.

PHINS UP JIMMY!! Congrats on your well deserved award! Thanks to Alan Jacskon for letting him bask in the limelight!!!

Two words: plastic surgery. I know this because she and I share the same surgeon.

Is there any male out there who doesn't prefer leggy, bleached blondes with big boobs?

yes there are. There are men that perfer women who are comfortable with themselves and secure enough in themselves that they don't feel the need to go under the knife. Beauty is from within - not external. I've known quite a few "beautiful" people that wern't worth pi$$ing on if they were on fire!!!
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.
