Are the CMAs a benchmark for recognition? After the opening of the show most of it was difficult to watch. It kind of reminded me of halftime at the Superbowl.
For me, I was proud of him, as if a family member was up there.
I loved him thanking his wife, him being on stage, and Alan letting Jimmy be in the limelight with the acceptance speech.
two great guys...classy and cool. Can not wait for the next show! Even though it was primarily Alan's song, the hook on the hit was Jimmy....a great fun duet. Jimmy can no longer say he has never received an award!
