Any updates on Margaritaville Vegas?

Do we know if the show on the 22nd is a private show or availability or price for tix or anything??? Any info would be outstanding as I am trying to make a decision on which show to go to. I would rather go to Vegas since it is on my B--Day

It depends....I know they were trying to get the strip closed to do a show outside for everyone....but I believe this is still pending. If that doesn't happen...this show will probably be a private show via invitation only.

Soooooooooooo, who's going to be at the opening on thursday? Several folks from teh Las Vegas Parrot Head Club will be meeting at about 6:00 pm if anyone would like to join us! I think we'll wear our little name bagdes so anyone can find us.

And, who's got VIP passes to go on tuesday or wednesday? If anyone, who will be there wednesday? I will be there about 8 pm looking for any other folks I know.

Looking forward to having an awesome time and seeing some familiar, and not so familiar, faces!!!!

I'll be there Thursday and I'll be there Wednesday as well! (of course Honey Do already knows that!)

The soft opening is actually starting today....I guess it grew from a one day affair into 3 days of training for the staff! (I'm only lucky enough to go on on Wednesday....but I'll take it!)

Anyways....I'll bring my camera and take some pics for everyone when we go for those not fortunate enough to get here this week.

Hope to see many of you out here in the coming months though and celebrating at Sin City's own Margaritaville!

When we were in Vegas this past April we were given some names to call - some VPs - no luck with them yet.

I have gotten confirmation on the 22nd from the Flamingo.
I tried to make reservations - doesn't hurt to try

I was told that that night is a "ticketed event" and at this time they have no further information on how to get tickets etc.

I'll keep you informed if I hear anything.

Here's to sun in Jan - instead of the 2ft of snow outside!

Let's all hope this Margaritaville is more than a cheesy Vegas theme restaurant.

I toured the place last month as I am renting it for a corporate event I am having for 200 people in February. It is pretty cool, very much like the Orlando place, but bigger. A+ location. Wait until warmer weather, the 3rd floor outdoor bar is awesome, view over the strip A+.

With "A little luck" this may become a national hang out for Parrotheads. The management came from the House of Blues, and are sharp guys, The place is jointly owned by Jimmy's restaurant corporation and the hotel group that owns the Flamingo. They told me they have lined up some outstanding house bands....

I am flying out Saturday to pick up my motorhome/bus and drive it back to San Diego...hope to see some phriends at the place Saturday night...anyone going?

My pa is staying right across the street in Ceasars P. His window overlooks M'ville and he had said they just raised the sails on the boat, cleaned up the front and the painters just left. Talked to him tonight and told me it was still on for the 11th.
