I think it would be cool is Jimmy and Mac did a tour together similar to Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. I always love the acoustic sets and I think everyone on here does as well. I think seeing those two together in smaller venues without all the props would be an interesting change of pace. I bet they could charge a ton. I would pay a lot to see them at a House of Blues-type of venue.

Yeah... I heard that Seagrams was opting out of their contract and that would probably be the end of it. Unless someone else pick up the distribution.... I'm really thinkin' Jimmy doesn't need the money or hassle to keep it going. The whole thing only got started b/c of Seagrams...

How about the "Irvine got hosed!" tour...

Sorry about that pholks...I just watched the mini-matinee DVD and got bummed about our show getting cancelled all over again. I understand the reason, but still feel that Jimmy should give us 2 shots at seeing him next year to make up for '03.

He did that for Atlanta the year he took the summer off....

He played Atlanta the next winter and then played the following spring.Unfortunately, he only played one show instead of his usual two shows around the fourth of July so we're still a show behind and everything has been in chaos ever since....

Do I sound a little bitter? I'm really not.... It's just in Atlanta we got use to hosting Jimmy for two shows around the 4th of July and things are now a crap shoot to figure out when he' going to play......

But I guess I can still count on Greatwoods for Labor Day....

I'm bitter. I won't mask it. Especially since he chose to go to Phillips Arena where people seem to get tickets for free more than are actually sold to the public.

Oh yeah. But you know it's gonna be the "Conchytonk" tour. It COULD be the "you ain't gonna get tickets unless you pay out the wazoo" tour. Or the "citcat ain't gonna get tickets for her and her 15 phriends" tour. Every year we go, we add two to four more people!
