Buffett Band

Post by piratelooksat40 »

We are a Parrothead Club in Up State NY. We are located in the Albany- Saratoga area. www.paratoga.com. We are in the process of planning our 2nd annual Mid-Winter Fest. I am looking for a Buffett cover group or musian. Does anyone know of a group or just a single musian in the area to fill our needs? Any help would be appreciated. We are planning this for around March 13th so I need to get things rolling.
Thanks

You might want to edit your subject before you have 20 people asking you what kind of food is being served at your "Buffet"!

Good luck with your event!

Check out the Calypso Nuts. http://www.calypsonuts.com/
The do a lot of Buffett covers (their version of Cowboy in the Jungle and African Friend will BLOW you away), other tropical-style music, plus their own original music. EXTREMELY entertaining, they don't just stand there and play the music. They're booked for a lot of the east coast club phlockings and play each year for MoTM. Check 'em out, send them an e-mail and tell Lynley that Peggy sent you.

Hey Pirate.....

I am from the Syracuse chapter and we had Joe Bennett who always plays at Margaritaville New Orleans up for our fundraiser event in July. Might want to check him out. He was a crowd pleaser.

Check out a band called Parrotthedd from Dayton Ohio. You can find them listed on the internet but don't know how to contact. These guys are so much like the real thing it is scary.
