I'm just sitting here kinda sad. I really want to go to a Buffett show. I last saw him in August in Cincy, but that seems so long ago. I always have so much phun with my Parrothead phriends in the parking lot and with Jimmy during the show. Anyone else feeling this way? I listen to his music, but it's not the same as a live show. Ok, just wanted to vent. :( Thanks for listening.

If you haven't already.....go get the Mini Matinee....I originally wasn't going to but it's worth it.....really put a smile on my face on Saturday when I watched it!

Only thing wrong with the DVD is that it makes me wish It was summer again, and the show was the next day

I know exactly what you mean. I really wish that JB would release some tour dates. I last saw him in June-which seems like that was about five years ago!

I always come out of JB shows with a smile on my face, and then about twenty minutes afterwards , I start thinking, "When can I do this again?" It's always nice when tour dates have been released, and I actually know the answer to that question and have something to look forward to. Instead, I've been wondering now for five months when I'll next see him. This waiting game is torture!

I think we all feel this pain here at Buffettnews. My last big show was Cincy in august, but I was at the CIP opening in Downers Grove, which was great to see Bubba, but I didnt get he full effect since there was no parking lot antics! I had tickets to go see him at Irvine, but understandably it was cancelled. I cant wait for the Florida tour(if there is one).

That's from your lack of planning! We treated it the same way we treat a traditional concert, complete with our outfits and a cooler!

f2cdlzrd - That withdrawal must be contagious... I was feeling the same way yesterday (intensified because I missed out on going to see the Beach Bum Band Saturday night for a beach party), so I popped in the minimatinee and drank some hurricanes. :wench:

My husband went like this :-?
My sister went like this  and told me they need to do an "intervention".

8)

Sometimes just listening is better than the concert because you actually hear the songs you want to hear, but I agree from November till about February I go throught serious withdrawl. Then tour dates are announced and spring fever starts all over!!!!

I must confess, i too am going through Buffett withdrawl. Even though I am only a fan of less than a year buffett has becoem a way of life for me, and i can't wait untill summer. I must also comment on that fact that after watchin the mini-matinee the wish of summer comming early passed through my mind. I can't wait till the summer dates are announced. However untill then thank you God for Radio Margaritaville.

Add me to the list!

Closing down the hangout, the air is turning cool....shutting off the super slide, the kids are back in school......

So sad!! I have a feeling that maybe all of us here are living in a more frigid climate than some????? Here - central Wisconsin....can't get too much worse as far as cold, icky, long winters are concerned.....

What helps us (my group of concert phriends), we have island parties...crank the heat, fill the pool, bring in some sand, and blast Buffett....the corona is cold, the weather is warm.....we talk about the past concerns and plan for the future ones.....

Remember, Margaritaville can be anywhere you want it to be....if you just imagine...

Look back only with a smile and look forward with hope!

Serious withdrawal here! Since Great Woods i have been dying to go to another show! The Tiki Time Tour really kicked ass and i wish it was longer.I hate not having any winter or falls shows here on the east coast(New York).
