First edition of Tales from Margaritaville?
I'm collecting all of the first edition books JB has written, but don't have Tales From Margaritaville yet. What is the first printing of this book? I've seen several versions but they are 2nd or third printings.....what is the correct year for this book?

I'm trying to think (quite a stretch on a Saturday!)...I'm thinking it's very early 90's, because I remember where I was living at the time, and as soon as I heard that Jimmy Buffett had written a book, I went flying to the library to get it. They literally hadn't even unapacked it from the box it was shipped in. Needless to say, they unpacked it while I waited. I was the very first person EVER to read that copy of the book. Let me see what else I can dig up....
(would you like to know what kind of car I drove that year? Kidding.)

Auntie- Yeah, I think it was either 1989 or 1990???? You remember what kind of car you drive back then
good memory! So what kind of car was it?
NYC - it'll say in the copyright page what year it was copyrighted, and if it's the first edition there won't be any second printing, third printing, etc. in any of the text.
Each book comes with a series of numbers or letters at the bottom of the page...I think in Tales the letters are A B C D E.....
