Hi gang
Jeepgirl has a spreadsheet with cell #'s, but we have been pretty busy so she hasn't gotten it out in PM's yet.
The Shark tank is indoors, completely. I'm pretty sure the party at Peggy Sue's is on the patio... don't know what kind of cover they have in case of rain. This time of year it rains every 4-5 days so it's a crap shoot as to whether it will be dry or not. Be prepared sorry, it's the scoutmaster in me We need to keep in mind it's about a 10 minute walk from Peggy Sue's to the Tank... aw heck, Jimmy always starts late.

But the guy's english wasn't so good. Maybe he didn;t understand the question and thoguht OI asked him if there was a Marriott Courtyard nearby.
Jeepgirl would knwo for sure.
If they don't then we'll do the rooms. There should be close to 10 rooms booked with us.

I wonder someone should call the hotel as request that we get some rooms close to each other.
Everybody who is interested in trying to reserve rooms in close proximity PM me your last names.......I just called the Arena and they said they could do it. WooHoooo!!! I'll check back this evening sometime and hopefully this is something y'all are still interested in doing!

Thanks a lot guys now that song is stuck in my head!!!!
Jenny, Jenny, who can I turn to?
You give me something I can hold on to
I know you think I'm like the others before
Who saw your name and number on the wall
Yeah, sing it
Jenny, I got your number
I [laughs] need to make you mine
Jenny, don't change your number
867-5309
867-5309
867-5309
867-5309
Jenny, Jenny, you're the girl for me (Woo! Sing it!)
You don't know me, but you make me so [laughs] happy!
I tried to call you before but I lost my nerve (short-term memory loss)
I tried my imagination, but someone kept knockin' on the bathroom door
(I'm washin' my hands!)
Jenny - [laughs] - I'll be out in a minute!
I - What are you doing in there? Nothing!
Jenny, don't change your number
867-5309
867-5309
867-5309
867-5309
Break it down!
I got it (Got it, got it)
I got your number on the wall
I got it (got it)
For a good time

i am sure jeep girl knows this, but i will add this info. the areana hotel is a small hole in the wall hotel about 1/2 a mile from the areana, easy walking distance. it does not have a pool or a common area outside where people can get together to make plans for the day. it does have a good sized resturant and lobby.jeepgirl wrote:I beg your pardon Mason I was born and raised in San Jose.mason wrote:since it seems that i am the lone san jose rep on this board, i will check out what the areana hotel has to offer in the way of a courtyard, and other useful info.Everybodys Cousin n Miami wrote:I just called the hotel and they said they have no courtyard. peggy sues is in area called san pedro square which is within walking distance beyond the "jimmy buffett parrothead training center" (aka " the shark tank") peggy sues does have tables on the sidewalk but no cover if it rains. there is also a parking lot on one side of it, with another resturant bar next door on the other side. there are also about 5 or 6 other resturant/ bars along with the deanza hotel in that area.
cousin in miami, you might want to consider renting a car to get around, since you are coming in earlier.
also jeep girl, would you consider that the spagehtti factory has a good sized bar, big enough for a large group of people?.
also. where in san jose did you used to live jeep girl? i am in the blossom hill/snell area.

if you can find a copy of the san jose metro weekly rag, it has plenty of pages filled with the doings of the local bar/resturant/club scene. depending on what you like, i am sure you will find something of interest.Everybodys Cousin n Miami wrote:Excellent.mason wrote:since it seems that i am the lone san jose rep on this board, i will check out what the areana hotel has to offer in the way of a courtyard, and other useful info.Everybodys Cousin n Miami wrote:I just called the hotel and they said they have no courtyard. Ten More DAys!!!!!! I cant wait! I drove to SJ the other night to scope everything out....looks cool...I am still unclear as to where the party before the show will be, are there any definate plans yet? Is it gonna be at one of the bars down the street from HP-P? I cant wait for the show and to meet some of you people....Too bad jimmy wont come play where I live....Live show at the Discovery Bay Yacht Harbor, well, I can dream cant I?? hehe So what kinda set list are we looking at? Most likely the usuall like with the Tiki time discs? This show is gonna be a lot of fun, I've been wanting to see jimmy live for like 10+ years now, and I cnat believe I finally am going to!!!

We are planning to meet at teh Arena Hotel at 817 The Almeda on Tuesaday at about 2pm. We'll party there until 6pm and head over to Peggy Sue's then head over to the tank.
The show is a continuation of the Tiki Time Tour.
