he sounds pretty good tonight. Laid back, not all juiced up, but the sound quality is there. Good feed too, for the most part.

Okay, not to be the geek of the night, but I'm having major connection problems. I DO NOT WANT TO DERAIL THE CONVERSATION, but would be interested to know more about my fellow phin phans listening on the internet. I'm set up and ready to rock and talk! Am I an idiot for having a dial-up connection?
Depends on what's available to ya! If cable is available go for it.
Sometimes the little avatars and quotes, etc. with the board reloading will wreak havoc on dial-up.

I'm afraid so, finsup2k - at least, many pholks here with dial-up have a hard time listening & talking , too. but I hope Nadirah came through loud and clear for you

Yes, this tropical excursion is nice and warm. Come to think of it, Jimmy has been getting me through these very cold days all month. There's something liberating about listening to "The Weather Is Here" or "Everybody's Talking" as I brave the below 0 wind chill on my way to work.

I did, I listened to it twice. It was both great and painful. Great to hear soooooo much energy, and painful to hear him butcher so many songs. But, if anyone's gonna butcher them, I want it to be Jimmy :)
