If I could only get 2 days off from work, I would jump at it. I put in 4 rooms and came up with the $60 rooms.

Read the fine print.

Once you book it, you can cancel, but you would forfeit the cost of the first nights stay.

Correction. If you cancel within 72 hours, you lose your deposit. So what hell, I signed up.

$75 night

Post by viva-vegas »

They are quoting me $75/night. This is a very good deal (sans tickets) as all other sources are at least $15 more per night.

are there still availabilities????

Is JB for certain going to have a concert? I was planning on the San Joe Show, but this sounds better.... I thought that it was just the opening of The Margaritaville Cafe, Las Vegas... and that he may or may not be having a concert.... I am lame, though.... so, I don't pick up too quickly....

HELP... I don't want to fly into LV to just see a cafe.

Does anyone know for sure?

He is going to play a show...that much is certain. Whether all the Reefers will be there or whether it will be a full show.....nobody knows for sure. It will be a fun time though no matter what happens!

I'm pretty sure it's a full band show.

We booked the deal on-line, but are still trying to figure out how we get the tickets. You are supposed to go to the connection club, have a card (like any "players card") and pick up your tickets. But, they did say it was first come first serve - and I couldn't get any info on when to start coming - - I will keep trying - anyone else having luck?

Read all the time - it's nice to stop in and say aloha . . .

JB at the Flamingo

Post by Guest »

I just spoke with the reservations people at the Flamingo. The way it sounds is that if you book a room online for 3 nights you are guaranteed tickets. The "first come first served" part determines seating. Evidently, tickets will be available starting on Jan. 22.

Tickets are not for sale. Margaritaville.com and lvrj.com (the local newspaper) are running contests for tickets as are local radio stations (this from the woman at M'ville at the Flamingo).

It is a general admission show.....my guess is the woman there was referring to the seating (or should I say standing) position at the show itself. The concert area is to open at 2pm and your spot in the venue is probably first come, first serve.

I still just can't believe this....e-bay has three auctions right now..one for 750, one for 800, and one for 1,000...7 people have bid on the 750 one so far.. they all say that these were charity tickets that are not available to the public and only 5,000 were issued!

What a cool promotion for the hotel to do this for us! Are we the only ones who know about it or what? I can't believe they have rooms available yet!
