Save the file. It will be in the total recorder folder. The use the cdwave editor to cut it into songs. save the songs when you reach the end. its fairly easy to do when you get used to it. I have never heard of a way to split the file in total recorder.

Hi, I just made a bunch of cds from Radio margaritaville using Total Recorder and splitting the tracks with Total recorder. Here we go:
In total recorder open the file under which you saved the show. To split
the tracks in Total Recorder you need to use the left and right markers.
You will see that near the bottom it says Markers, then underneath it has buttons saying Mark Go Undo Redo Mark Go then there is a button that says Save As next to the last button. These are the buttons you will use to split the tracks.
Ok, now that you have the file open you can make the first track, press
the Mark button on the left side, a litte green arrow will be there. Then press play on total recorder. When it gets to the end of the song, press the Mark button on the right hand side. Now you have Marked the left and right of the song. This is track one. Now you must save it. Clik on Save As (use the Save As under the Auto Stop) Do not use the Save As under File. For Track 2, Press the left Mark button, play the recording and when the song is over press the right Mark button, press Save As, name the track and continue. Basically you are using the left and right markers to divide the tracks. The left mark is the beginning of the track, and the right mark is the end of the track. The key is using the Save As icon under the Auto stop button. When you have all your tracks saved use the NeroMix to burn the tracks onto cd. I have tried many different ways to burn the JB shows onto cds, and the NeroMix is simple & perfect each time, it burns the cds very fast and very easy to use.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask, I finally figured this Total Recorder out, and now that I have it is great!!!!

Thanks for the info on total recorder. I will give that a try. sounds pretty simple. Do you have to use only nero mix? I don't have that program.

No, but it works like a gem for me.

You don't have to use NeroMix, but for $19.99 you'll save yourself a lot of hassle. Like I said, I tried other programs to burn cds and NeroMix is by far the easiest and fastest way to burn cds. Just look up Nero Mix on the web and give it a try. You get a free trial for one month. That's what I did, If you like it you can buy it. It's worth a try especially since you get a free trial. Good luck with the cds, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
