I can't quite believe that 6 months have passed since the last Parrot Phlock. As we are gearing up for 2004 (meeting tomorrow), the craziness is starting all over again!

Parrot Phlock 2004 is sponsored (so far - were trying to get more clubs on board) by the Detroit PHC and Pirates of the Great Lakes. We are having an event in Manistee MI to help raise the start up costs for Parrot Phlock on February 13 and 14.

Our club members, Tim and Jean Krause, teamed up with Caribbean Blue and the Manistee River Street Station (also new members of the PotGL) to bring us all

NORTHERN EXPOSURE in Manistee - complete details at the http://www.PotGL.4t.com web site.

TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE All you need to do is contact Mike at River Street or Tim Krause tdkeynorth@triton.net to reserve your ticket - I believe you can pay at the door - but don't hold me to that, ask them

Tickets are being presold for 2 reasons. 1) they guarantee you have a chair to sit in after you travel all that way (4 hours for us) and 2) they will keep the bar prices down, i.e., Mike won't have to hike up the drink prices to cover his expenses.

Less than 50 tickets are left - the first 50 went really quick, so don't think long and be left out shivering!

This is a benefit for Parrot Phlock 2004 - a portion of the $10 plus all raffles go to Parrot Phlock for Clean Beaches Council 2004.

Any other ?? e-mail me!

Okay - thanks to some goofy phone calls I received from the DPHC Happy Hour last night YIKES those guys and gals know how to party! the event is now sold out (they took ALL of the remaining tickets).

But you can call River Street Station in Manistee at
231-723-8411 ask for Mike or Sue Mulder (owners and members of PotGL) - or if they are not there you can talk to any one.

but you can call and get your name on a "reserve" list in case someone decides they can't go and turns in their tickets.

See you all on the 13th!
