I stayeed there last year and in 2000. Not a bad place for the price. And it has a very good location, 8-10 blocks to the Casa, and 1 block to Duval(south end)

They didn't mention it in the brochure, but if they keep all the room keys in a big bowl at the front desk, that should put any speculation to rest.

Hi all, I got news last night!! I saw Pater Mayer in NH and I asked him if he was sticking around for fridays street festival to play with Club Trini and he said he was "pretty sure". They asked them (Peter, Roger and Jim) to play with CT and Mac. Last year they didnt. Sounded like the most of the band will be there. Wonder if Amy will come, she has a new album to promote too......BYW Peter was AWSOME!!!!!!! If you dont have his new album you need to get it!!

So, originally my work schedule conflicted with MOTM so I didn't register. Now looks like I might be able to get off from work but registration is closed

Does anyone know if magic can be done to slide one more person in? If so please PM me. Thanks

Zanth, just show up. We did last year, and still go to see a lot. And we snuck into the Credentials required parties

. But hey, it's KEY WEST, you'll have a blast no matter what

Thanks for the advice guys. Des - I didn't mean sneak into the closed stuff but thought maybe someone had an "in" and possibly could get me registered - never hurts to ask

I wasn't "fussing at" you. I just know I've been guilty (?)
of behaving less than properly in regard to closed events
in the past
(sssshhhhhh...) and am just trying to mend my
evil ways.
(BTW, I've got some great swampland...

LOL! you all better not let Deb McCall (registration chair) hear ya talking about sneakin in, she'll throw your butts out.
Seriously, there are so many good bands and parties to check out this year that we don't think we will be at the Casa much. The Friday Street festival is worth the trip and it doesn't require credentials.

In most ways, it is cheaper to fly into FLL or MIA and drive/ride down, most of the flights just between KW and MIA/FLL cost the same as the flight from "the world" to the transfer point
