Last year we lucked up and our vacation was the same time that MOTM was going on. We were not PHC members, but there WAS a lot for nonmembers to see and do. There are some private events that require membership, but we sneeked in

Ok so...I'm in the middle of looking at hotels and there are some really great guest houses right off Duval. But I'm wondering where other people are staying.

Who wants to share their info?

4 phriends and I are staying at the Crowne Plaza on Duval St. Right next door to Margaritaville.

I'm staying at Ocean Breeze inn. very limited rooms left about $120/nite. The Blue marlin is right around the corner and is a decent place to stay, also $120/nite. Both are 4-6 blocks from the Casa.

Yeah, I saw the Ocean Breeze Side...cute little place.
I've been looking at the Southernmost Point Guest House...I found it someplace online for $139 but then I called directly...$95/night...not bad.

Anyone know if the southernmost point area is an OK place to be...like within walking distance to most things?

NJ, southern most point will work, your not to far from the Casa. Just wear confortable shoes for walking!

We are staying at the Reach, which is just down the sand from the Casa with great beach..

Its a little pricey (same as the Casa) but we got two queen beds and might be looking for roommates!!!!

Can November get here a little faster!!!!

hello all .............count me in. I will be attending my fourth MOTM. I recommend staying closer to the gulf side of the island. The only thing happening on the Atlantic side is Casa stuff, and to be honest wiht you, the most fun is down on Duval - especially Hog's Breath and Schooner Wharf.

Not registered yet, but plenty of time for that.
