Just wondering where others have stayed in the past. We have stayed at the Blue Marlin twice. It is a pretty good place, but was thinking about a change. The Casa is out of my range, looking for $125 mark. And I'm not wanting a slum either. So where have you stayed and for how much?

Joe.......there are alot of hotels offering PH rates in your price range. Go to http://www.phip.com/motm/ and click on hotels. I know you're looking for recommendations but we usually stay at the Casa so we don't have to stumble too far :D and to be in close proximity to our own personal bar :D

yeah I looking more for Personal thoughts on places. I've paid for a $75 room in places befor, and had an awesome place. BUT I have also paid $100 in the same area and got a "roach motel". So personal reviews are what I'm looking for. OH how I wish for the Casa :D

Stumble too far? was you drinking last year? I couldn't even tell

I have been to Key West for the past two years and am attending my first MOTM this November. My hubby and I are staying at Budget Key West. It is a nice, clean place on Eaton Street. It is not within stumbling distance, but is about $69-$79/night. We love it! Visit them at http://www.budgetkeywest.com.

My boyfriend got us reservations at the Douglas House. I don't know what the rates were, but it was great with continental breakfast and walking down Duval at all hours. Very nice! Probably the best if you want to take someone to impress or tell you care! :P

And doesn't that sound WONDERFUL?
I really can't recommend the BWHibiscus highly enough, but
they don't have their rates for that time posted on their web
page yet. We paid about $130 last year. It's an ideal location,
as you know.

LONG TIME NO SEE girl, Where have you been? I thing we're looking at Ocean Breezes Inn. Looks nice and is just around the corner of South and Simonton, right behind the Hibiscus. :D
