cd concert burning 101
For all of us computer dummies (or at least me) would someone please give me a simple lesson in how to burn a concert off of radio margaritaville? The simplier the better. I really appreciate it. I would like to get in trading loop with all of you. Fins up

This should help. When you get into the loop, hit me up with a PM. I have a few things to trade.

Not bad advice at that link but I always use a program called Goldwave.
www.goldwave.com
Click new and make a new sound file about 1 second long...under the record button there is a button for properites set it as unbound (thiis makes it record until you press stop) and "what you hear" at about 75%. At the intermission or at the end of the show highlight each song with the left and right mouse and click "copy to" name it as a song or file and change the extension to MP3 instead of .wav for example 01 Spirit of the great heart. Then make seperate folders for each show.
Then you can just use your burner to burn the mp3 tracks.
If you get really good at it you can back up each show on a master CD by burning data instead of music that way you can have a "master" disc with 3 or so shows on them and free up your hard drive space.
Remember not to sell them but to trade with friends.
