Parrot Cursor
I downloaded Comet Cursor Plus and got myself a cool little parrot cursor. The best thing about doing it was, that it installed an Ad Zapper. It kills all those annoying pop up internet ads. I've had it for about a week and it has "zapped" 341 pop up ads. Victory is mine! It was free. Just thought I'd share.

yeah, I'm with Lee. Comet Cursor installs a bunch of stuff to watch you and log your activities (spyware) and they slow down your computer. Besides, if you are just looking for popup protection you can either download the google toolbar if you are an Internet Explorer user, or one of the other many browsers out there. I use Mozilla because of the tabbing and security options, but that's me.

I thought I'd add one more concern... the pop-up blockers will also stop some java scripting necessary for web conferencing... I sell WebEx and Placeware and the number one problem is comet cursor's pop-up blockers...
BUT the cursors are soooo cute. I had a great pumpkin before I discovered that I couldn't run my business...

I don't know of any cursor programs, but this program is pretty cool. It allows you to personalize your boot screen without messing with important files. To be honest, if I ever came across a cursor program I wouldn't remember it. I've had to use several friends with comet cursor on them and they make me nuts. I need to know where the pointer actually is, not just guess what part of parrot or pumpkin is the "pointy part".rednekkPH wrote:Well then, can anyone point us to other cursors that don't contain all the nasty stuff?
