I posted this request a while back, but I wanted to revive it because my little cousin Jack needs Phin power now more than ever. (If you don't know the story, go back and read the first post of this thread. Short version--my cousin's 3-year-old son, Jack, has cancer on his kidney).
He has gone through four chemo treatments fairly successfully, and he had surgery last week to remove the tumor from his kidney. Well, the kidney that was operated on seems to be functioning, but his other kidney has shut down, for reasons unknown. The docs are trying to figure it out, but they think the kidney only has a 5 percent chance of functioning again. Considering the other kidney was recently operated on, they are not sure if it will continue to function or not. They need to give him another dose of chemo to ensure that all cancer cells are gone, but they cannot do that yet because of this kidney problem. So the cancer now has a better chance to reappear and spread.
Please send some Phin power his way!!!! He really needs it!
