Well, they, personally, didn't embarass me, personally. But being of the
same generation and from the same part of town, their less-than-PC
image didn't sit well with my delicate sensibilities. Admitting that I was
from the home of Redneck Southern Rock used to embarrass me. Now,
I'm all growed up and kinda proud of it... except when they show Daddy
Lacy Van Zant on TV. He's still quite a mess.

I was listening to a sidicated sports talk show on 1510 the Zone yesterday night and the dude on the radio had a good idea for the half-time show. Bring back the marching bands, but at the same time show all the high lights on the jumbo-trons (sp?) from that year in the NFL. I think it's a pretty cool idea.
