Live recording from the 1970's release

Post by VB for Buffett »

Jimmy needs to release another live recording from the 70's. You had to be There is so much better than the Tiki Time Tour releases from this year.
A concert from the 70's would give us all a chance to enjoy some of the older classics that he never plays today. lets face it those old songs are quite spectacular.
Who's with me we need another YOU HAD TO BE THERE$#@?
We are the people our parents warned us about.

I agree, but is there anything in the vaults that was recorded well enough to warrant release?

Except for three to five titles, songs from You Had To Be There are played this decade.

When you look at the set lists from the 70's and listen to the RM replays, I would say nothing much has changed. Maybe the style and his southern tongue. And a few songs here and there. Yea. Maybe Dallas, Tire Swing whatever, should be mixed in. And he does during set 2 throw in some 70's stuff. But how would he sing Big Rig today?
