I think my all-time favorite beer is this from the Deschutes Brewery in Bend, OR:

Here in OR, being the "microbrew state" there are lots to choose from....and I usually prefer a microbrew for taste.......but I am also partial to:
Corona (by itself or add a shot of Bacardi Limon for an extra kick, hehehe) and it must have a lime
Bass
Moosehead
Beck's Dark
Negro Modello
I have been known to consume others such as:
Bud/Bud light
Coors/Coors light
Well, really I've been known to consume just about anything........

Nope. Some Yuengling is made in Tampa. However, the Pottsville and St. Clair facilities still produce the majority of the beer. I do alot of work for the brewery, and know the family quite well. However, once the Tampa facility is operating at full capacity, it will out-produce the original brewery easily.mrmiata wrote:Phunny thing about that...
Most Yuengling is made in Tampa now. I've been to the plant. Doesn't change the fact that I like it.

They dont' make a pale ale per se, I would think that the Lord Chesterfield Ale would be about the closest. Here's a link to their lineup: http://yuengling.com/beers.htmfrosted fins wrote:WE just got Yueng up her and by far it's the best quality for the money. I just wish I could get ahold of their Pale Ale. All we can get is Lager and Black & Tan...

Oh, that's sweet! The problem is our local distributor is the same one that has Corona and won't talk to our PHC. I'll just get some in April. We're going on vacation and we're staying the night near Pottsville. Educational sidetrip to the brewery is what I'm feeling!
Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious...

Currently on the South Beach diet and beer...cold, frosty beer... is OFF-LIMITS!!
when I come back to my senses I'll be ready to enjoy:
Bohemia
Harp
Negra Modelo
Steinlager
San Miguel
.... but I'll probably end up drinking cases of f****n' Miller Lite!!

Well I went out and spend $50 on beer last night at BevMo, thanks in no small part to this thread . . .
I bought some of my favorite Belgium beers, Arogant Bastard and Presidente (Dominican Republic). I even found some bottles from a Brewery in Kennebunkport Maine.
Shipyard Export Ale. I didn't realise they sold this on the West Coast! It probably won't be as good as I remember. I go to Maine once or twice a year and buy a "growler" from the Shipyard Brewery. A growler is a big jug of beer straight out of thier tanks which has never been at room temperature. The date when it was brewed is hand written on the screw top. I've never had any more than 3 days old!! Its GOOOOOD!!!!
Oh, while I was at BevMo I found Coke in a glass bottle (bottled in Mexico). That's GOOD stuff and I usually only get it at a taco place I frequent. I bought a few bottles of that too . . .
