72% Dixie here
(there were no aussie answers ... tho it was nice of them to put my surname in as one of the questions)
I guess this influence is from spending most of my time in the USA in Atlanta .... tho of late, been spending with someone that was bought up in the North USA, but the south must have rubbed off

I wondered how you'd do, Creeky. Mr. SGH came out about 60% Dixie. He didn't grow up in this country, either, but we lived in the south for 15 years before moving back nawth.

58% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.
Most of my family (shivers) lives in Maine, hence my love for the Red Sox.
I moved to VA a few years ago & lived in Alabama for a few years also, in the Army.

52% (barely in Dixie). I'd say exposure to everything from Montana (settled by a lot of folks from the deep south after the war), to Minnesota (most of the Great Lakes answer results) to Ohio (even mix of northern and southern influences in the big cities), and friends from all over creates the perfect mix to blend in anywhere.

Yes, when I think of Ringling, two words come to mind: "perfect mix" .
