I take the 7:01 train so I leave home before the Today Show starts and I forgot to set my VCR. I think I'm suffering from old timer's disease.

What a nice surprise – the stars must have aligned for me today. I had an appointment this morning around 10 and decided to stay at home instead of going to work first and then go to the appointment. The TV was on in the other room on NBC and I decided to log on to BN and see what was happening. As I was logging in, I heard Matt Lauer mention Jimmy Buffett and ran to the TV. Sure nuff, there was JB, Mac and Ralph sitting right where every one of us would love to be sitting. Got a preview of “License to Chill” and this nice surprise surely made my day. After logging in I see that you guys were right on top of the show…it was my lucky day! Have a “boat drink” kind of weekend!

Buddy of mine has always said that as wasted as us parrotheads are at Buffett concerts that he could get on stage and sing and we would not know the difference. Well, after seeing Bubba on t.v. this morning, he might be right..  I love ya Jimmy!!!!!!

Man, it was great to see Jimmy this morning, but that show really made me want to get someplace else. But I guess I'll just have to settle for a pitcher of Pain Killer.

I was so happy to see this thread this morning! I haven't had a chance to tune in to much TV lately....was lucky enough to be off work this am and probably would have missed JB otherwise! I don't know about anyone else, but seeing Jimmy on the Today show has REALLY made me eager for some tour dates to be announced. And I thought License To Chill was kind of a catchy little tune also!
I also must say, Jimmy has very nice looking feet too :P

I missed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wilson was there? I remember Jimmy signing Wilson during the San Jose show and then giving him to a kid in the 2nd row. While handing Wilson to the kid, he said "take good care of Wilson".

Or.........it could have been those yummy Margaritas. Or, one of those flashbacks they always warned us about finally showed up!
