I have started a casual dress day where I work on Fridays. It is always a tropical shirt (Not all are Hawaiian shirts), and Vans. Even this past Friday when it stayed in the 40's all day (I live in Florida, that is cold stuff) windy and rainy. I teach at a private school. The kids and the parents know I try to bring a little island life into the school ever Friday.

But, yes, besides being 5 o'clock somewhere, it is also summer somewhere and I believe summer can be a state of mind.

Me? I was glad to get back to Tennessee from SW Florida. Here the temperatures feel like real seasons. It's 67 degrees in Ft. Myers/Naples right now and I'm happier here in Knoxpatch with 32 degrees.

I'm a coastal kinda kid, but I find myself loving the foothills more and more each day.
It's good for the soul when there's not a soul in sight.
