Is it just me or are you confused with the suggested Chicago dates? I'm staring at my calendar right now and I'm seeing August 26 & 28 as a Thursday and Saturday...parrotheadmike wrote:Yeah if those dates(Aug 26th&28th) are a Sunday and Tuesday there is no way they are right. I would think and hope he plays Chicago in June! I would think Cincy would be in June aswell with Indy and Detroit being in August. But with Alpine rumored for July you never know! I am happy with the Alpine Saturday show though. The more Saturday shows the better!

I bet my daughter would LOVE to spend her 8th birthday at the Thursday Chicago show! She and her 5-year-old sister always ask when they can go to a Jimmy Buffett concert with me... seems like perfect timing! I think I could make that sacrifice for the good of the children!
That July Alpine date still baffles me for some reason, and it's exactly one week after my 8th birthday!

Haha I was too lazy to look at the days, I just took Jiggs word for it. I went from a good mood to a bad mood now. I hope those dates are wrong! This has been a rough week for me, it looks like Jimmy wont be at Jazz Fest, or in New Orleans to play Margaritaville, and it looks like I will have already moved to New Orleans in August when Jimmy plays Chicago! This is not goodjiggs(2) wrote:parrotheadmike wrote:Where are those Chicago dates from?? I hope you are wrong on those, I will have already moved out of the area. I havent missed Jimmy in Chicago in a few years!
I don't know about those dates, a sunday and a tuesday seem a bit off...if they were to be true should be able to score great seats since they don't manage to sell out every thursday night show in chicago...

Margaritaville will probably post something this week as shows go on sale at the end of the month. Take it for what it is worth.

I dont know how reliable those are, as they used to have Jazz Fest up there and it looks like Jimmy wont be appearing there. Can you tell I am still bitter about that!RumFan wrote:jimmydreamz.com has some dates posted....anyone know how reliable this site usually is?

Re: 2004 Spring and Summer Tour Dates
When I was at the Tweeter Center on Saturday, the people behind the ticket booth indicated to me that he was coming but were told to keep the dates a secret until announced. One website indicated 9/2 and 9/4, so I posted it thinking it was a good bet.

Re: 2004 Spring and Summer Tour Dates
wait a minute, are these guesses from website, or are these from the venue websites. Because while I've heard most of these dates, they have been GUESSES based upon other years, or based upon other artists published schedules. If you got them from good websites, I apologize, but I suspect these are just speculation.Steele1161 wrote:Here is what I have come up with so far from various sources/websites for tour dates. As I stated on my original post. These are a listing from
1) Various Buffett Websites
2) Venue Websites
3) Sources, such as the Tweeter Center
I was just gathering all the dates together and putting them all together.
Some of these may be new to you, as not all of the items were posted on buffettnews.com. I could be wrong, if the other websites I found these on were incorrect.

I realize this, but on this Buffett website there have been several threads that contained erroneous dates. The thread authors posted the dates and disappeared while others argued. So, while they "were posted on a Buffett website" they are wrong. Again, I'm probably wrong, but I hate getting my hopes upSteele1161 wrote:As I stated on my original post. These are a listing from
