1) Various Buffett Websites
2) Venue Websites
3) Sources, such as the Tweeter Center

Some of these may be new to you, as not all of the items were posted on buffettnews.com. I may be wrong on a few here. if the other websites are wrong.
I realize this, but on this Buffett website there have been several threads that contained erroneous dates. The thread authors posted the dates and disappeared while others argued. So, while they "were posted on a Buffett website" they are wrong. Again, I'm probably wrong, but I hate getting my hopes up :)
But no one proved they were wrong. The person that originally posted them just did not respond, or they never returned to the site. We don't know that they are any more erroneous than they are true. I understand that you don't want to get your hopes up, but some people do have means of finding dates before they are announced through an official Buffett source. If they choose to post and run, it doesn't mean they are false. Of course, we shouldn't bet the farm on these dates, but they are something to begin planning with, like hotel reservations...

ditto! It's obviously not a complete list of dates. There are other cities and venues that will certainly be announced in the future. Don't freak out yet, it's probably not a complete list!

The list was not meant to be a complete list but information I compiled. I am sure there will be dates in Detroit, Camden, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Bristow, Denver, Dallas, Long Island and Atlanta. I am sure there will be many more

Lets just say this much. The anticipation of the dates is killing all of us. 8)

I don't know about those dates, a sunday and a tuesday seem a bit off...if they were to be true should be able to score great seats since they don't manage to sell out every thursday night show in chicago...
Last year the Thursday in TINLEY PARK was sold out. (Sorry about the caps on tinley, I just hate seeing good old Richard Daly  (chicago's mayor) getting credit for anything) Anywho, I was one of the fortunate ones to have center stage box seats. But this year I am going to buy regular seats. It is too quiet in the box, unless you get a party box. Then it's just plain interesting!

I understand that it was sold out and I was there, you could buy tickets up to an hour before the show...it never 'sells out' until after the second show sells out...comapred to other cities, the thursday night response is not nearly as overwhelming...just my 2 cents....I'm just happy he is still coming, sell outs or not, I'll be there...

...on a compleletly other topic it appears that the area hotels are looking to make an extra buck or too, not saying that they are high priced, but compared to a few short years ago they're up about 35% at some places

I haven't read through all three pages on this topic, but the Tampa Bay Parrothead Club sent out an email yesterday and confirmed Jimmy would be in Tampa on Thursday, April 22 at the Ice Palace (aka St. Pete Times Forum).

Tiki Bar wrote:I bet my daughter would LOVE to spend her 8th birthday at the Thursday Chicago show! She and her 5-year-old sister always ask when they can go to a Jimmy Buffett concert with me... seems like perfect timing! I think I could make that sacrifice for the good of the children! :D  8)
So I told my daughter last night that there might be a Jimmy Buffett concert on August 26th... she immediately said "I wanna have my birthday at Jimmy Buffett, with Nick, Taylor, Allie, Ryan and..." this is where I cut her off and broke it to her that I wouldn't be paying for all of her little friends to come to her birthday bash at the World (Tweeter Center). But in retrospect wouldn't that be cool!!! They're all big fans and would have an absolute blast! Could be a great memory in the making!

They'd better have a Pittsburgh show! We still haven't fully recovered from when they bumped us down from 2 shows to 1 a few years back.

We take nothing for granted... :D
