Is this comment (about being closed minded and voting for Bush) referring to 98% of the Christians you know or 98% of all of Christians? Because if it's about all of them, that's a big generalization.

I guess my point was this, both atheism and theism are belief systems. I can't prove to people beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists and they can't prove to me that He doesn't exist beyond a shadow of a doubt. So it takes faith on both sides of the ball. But you are right, I should not make over-generalizations, I should have said I find it ironic that most atheists that I know are more closed minded than Christians that I know

My son has read Deception Point and is in the process of reading The Code. He said Deception point was great and so far so is the Code

you cant prove something doesnt exist,the burden of proof is on the beleiver,which they never seem to be able to come up with
and to say atheists are more closed minded than christians is ridiculous,i have NEVER heard an atheist claim that if you dont believe what they do you will be punished for it.i dont recall anywhere in history where a group of atheists killed large numbers of people to push their beliefs on others,the same cannot be said for christians,or many other religions.

I have been called ignorant and foolish and a cultist for my beliefs and that is pretty closed minded in my opinion.

this might've been posted already, but you did hear that they are doing The Da Vinci Code movie right? Tom Hanks is in it. I'm pretty excited about it.

Yeah. I can't wait to see it.

I interviewed Brown when his first book came out. . . DIGITAL FORTRESS . . . he's a very nice guy. And very well educated and thorough with his work.

I got up at 3 in the morning to look up THE MADONNA OF THE ROCKS. And the book made me review THE LAST SUPPER very, very closely.
