yeah...I missed Alpine 2003 and needed months of therapy to recover. I now have my priorities in place and am just trying to pass my lesson learned onto others so they don't have to feel the pain that I felt last June 28th.

I skipped a wedding last year for Alpine. Didn't really mind though, since the former friend that invited me to her wedding was marrying a guy that I blew off at least 20 times in college...I think all she wanted to do was try to rub it in my face. Problem is, the joke was on her... I never wanted him!

She just wanted more gifts

I wanted to be where I belonged... in Margaritaville at Alpine!

Wow this thread is already huge! I cant wait to go! I bet he didnt want to go in June because sometimes the weather can get bad. I remeber in 01 it was 40 and sleeting!

If all the rumor dates are correct, hubby & I plan to leave Ohio (yeah!) on July 8, heading to Indianapolis for the concert; next day, moving on to the west surburbs of Chicago for a cheeseburger; then hopefully on to Alpine Valley. We went last year and had a great time, a great party.

Keeping my fingers crossed for tickets and vacation days

I just got the word that the Best Western in Janesville will be having a pre-party with the whaleshark, Erik and Tatiana, the Friday before Alpine. This is where the bus leaves from so it will definitely be an all weekend party!!! I will post more info when it is all confirmed! Rooms are all blocked for the Best Western now I believe, so if you want to come, check out the link in my sig. line for the bus trip!!!

Can't wait!! gonna be lots of fun!!!!

We skipped Alpine last year for the Saturday Chicago show because it's closer to Grand Rapids. What a mistake!!! They didn't open the parking lot until 4 and then the tailgating just sucked. Add to that , Jimmy didn't do Southern Cross at that show. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Alpine valley here we come. We're driving through to Milwaukee, stopping in Indiana and Chicago on the way to pick up parrotheads. Taking a bus from Milwaukee to Alpine. No designated driver this year.

Oh yeah, i've got cabin fever BAD.......I think I'll start the liver training for alpine tonight after I get the keets to bed

Tiki Bar, I hope we finally get to meet! The bus trip is the way to go, thank you FUN for putting us in the know, Rob sounds like he is a hoot!
I hope we can get as many BN'ers together as possible this year...Chicago last summer was such a blast!!!
