Not to burst everyone's bubble here with the Alpine Valley date, but when was the last time Jimmy played a show in July? July's usually his month off in the Hamptons, right?

And when was the last time the spring stuff was this late and when was the last time a summer schedule wasn't out three weeks ago. Jimmy's family tragedies last fall have had his entire world and schedule in a state of flux.
Roll with it BABY

Jimmy said at the Honolulu and Maui concerts that he would be downunder visiting Australia in May and June...hence the July Alpine date.

This is where the bus leaves from so it will definitely be an all weekend party!!! I will post more info when it is all confirmed! Rooms are all blocked for the Best Western now I believe, so if you want to come, check out the link in my sig. line for the bus trip!!!
Can't wait!! gonna be lots of fun!!!!
As a kid, I spent a couple weeks every summer at my aunt's house in Janesville. I'm thinking I may have to re-visit that tradition for a couple days this summer!

Jimmy played Alpine in July in 1999 and 2000....July 17,1999 and July 20, 2000. Unfortunately, I had to miss both those July tour dates

in 1999, my husband's best friend from college got married that day and my husband was the best man, so I couldn't weasel my way out of that wedding (is it obvious my hubby's friend is not a Jimmy Buffett fan?) In 2000, I was six months pregnant with my youngest keet, feeling like my center of gravity had changed too much to be tromping the hilly lawn of Alpine, so I didn't go. Sorry to sound to much like a party animal here, but it's also a h*ll of a bummer to go to THE biggest party of the year and not be able to drink or enjoy an occasional smoke (? various kinds?) so that's another reason I opted out. This July the schedule is clear and no keets are on the way......WOO HOO!!!

I am so glad you are joining us Steph!!! It will be fun, for sure! Tiki Bar, yes, come with!!!! Rob and I are still working on the details, but Erik and Tatiana are set to come Friday night for sure! Missed you guys at CIP this weekend...the Boat Drunk band was really good! Rob was at the Madison PH club party at the Janesville BW and got thrown in the pool so he never made it to the CIP..... It was just me and a few friends, didn't get to see any BNers.... next time though!!!
So much snow here....summer has to come quick!!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome myself back. I don't think I've posted in over a year........Anyway, my wife and I usually stay in Fort Atkinson for the concert, but last year we aquired an RV and will be using that for our room on the concert weekend.
My question is, where do most people camp around the venue? I found a CG (Snug Harbor) that looks nice and is in close proximity to some good golf courses. Anywhere else? Thanks.

I haven't camped over in years past but the 2.5 hour drive home kills me every year. I vow to this year, and have put together some
Camping near Alpine notes on places I'm looking at, if you're interested.
What you & I
BOTH really want to know is where the most Parrot Heads congregate so we can have a little pre-show Phun,
if anybody knows, please POST!

I just booked with Snug Harbor...She said they were filling up fast due to the Buffett concert, also said that many PHeads stay in the campground.
