So what the hell is going on with ticketmaster? I though the tickets were going on sale like March 20th or something? Don't they give us a week or so to get our acts together?

Any word on the actual announcement of this show date, as well as when tickets go on sale?

I think they will be announced after the Chicago sale this Saturday. May not go on sale March 20th now...may be the following week or even April.... Don't worry though, it will be July 10th!

Hey Kids,

I currently have a suite reserved at the Amercinn in Elkhorn, WI for July 9 and 10. I think they quoted me $179 per night.

I am now planning on staying in Janesville and taking the bus instead...is there anyone who would like me to let them know when I cancel my room in Elkhorn, so they can call and pick it up?

Just let me know.

DrinkinOnAFakeID and I are staying at the Alpine Valley Resort. Let's see how many people we can cram into a room with 2 beds!!

We'll be there Fri. and Sat. nights. We should be in town around 1 or 2 pm. I guess that depends on what time we wake up after the Indy show. I think it's about a 3-4 hour drive from Indy to Alpine. Goin' to get the party started on the way there!!!!

Ha! It's gonna be a little longer than 3 or 4 hours. It's 3.5 hours from Indy to Chicago... in good traffic... You better count on at least 6-7 hours of driving on a Friday from Indy to Alpine. I'm not trying to be a downer, but in the case you hit typical Chicago area summer traffic, you should be prepared for the worst...

I'll be the designated drunk passenger, so this won't be a problem, as long as the beer doesn't run out. I think it might be quicker to go around Chi-town as much as possible.

Booze, if you want to beat the Chicago traffic (which is a good idea since they are doing construction on 80-94) there is an alternate way I am thinking about going. Take 74 west to Bloomington IL (I think) and there you pick up 39 north all the way to Janesville. I checked on mapquest and I think it said it would be a 5 hour drive goin that way.

Thanks for the Info!! I've been to Chicago and know traffic sucks, surely it's 10X worse on a Friday afternoon. We'll form the first automobile conga line, from Indy to Alpine. We'll lead the way in the Chevy dually!!
