Just talked to CRC and landshark on the bus from Janesville - they're still in traffic waiting to get in, but the party is well underway. Oh, the stories they will tell

pr8thdlvr, you're not completely alone - I'll be hanging out on BN during the show. Probably in the Off-Topic drunk thread if things go as I expect they will.

One thing I *can* say about Alpine..... there is NO cell reception in there.... I tried to make calls last year and had *zero* signal...

I can verify that - he did try. I'm on vacation this week but I will try to get some pics up when I can. Lots of fun was had by all

As Jimmy says, "it was a pleasure and a helluva an evening." For all those BNers I met in Alpine, it was WONDERFUL to meet all of you. Next time, come down to Atlanta and pay me a visit.

Brown Eye, I don't have your number otherwise you would have had plenty of drunk dials.

Four Play, I can't remember if we told you about the boat or not. Someone had a sail boat out in the lot. It certainly wasn't Dallas though.

Well, my pictures are getting developed as we speak. I hope to have some of them up later.

Now I'm going back to sleep.....

A quick note to Brian (AKA Alpine Valley)

THANK YOU! The lack of hassle getting into the parking lot was greatly appreciated this year. We pulled up to the gates at 1:00, and were allowed right in. What a difference. We understand why you have to say 3pm, otherwise people would be there at 9am, but the Parrotheads appreciated starting the party early!!!!

And to the BN'ers I met yesterday, it was great putting faces with names! Hope you enjoyed the Jambalaya!

It was starting to fill up when I got there around 8. (As CRC will be happy to tell you, most of the other guys had already passed out by this time.) By 10pm the place was jumping. I bailed around 12:30, but apparently the party kept going until past 3am.
