Cincy RV Question
For those of you that have taken an RV to the show, are you able to park overnight in any of the tailgaiting lots? I am toying with the idea of renting an RV this year but only if I don't have to drive home right after the show.
They ran us out of the parking lot a few years ago in cars. It would be nice to not need a DD. They are sooooo hard to find at Buffett shows.

KYboatdrunk,
The word is that the parking lots are not going to open until couple hours before showtime this year. Hope they change their mind.....there is also some buzz about the Great American Ball Park has sent invite to Jimmy to appear at there this year..... hmmmm guess time will tell.

Why didn't you just pull into the nearest motel or Home Depot parking lot?tommcat327 wrote:DIDNT WANT TO GO TO JAIL IN OHIOrednekkPH wrote:You shoulda drove it into their cruiser, then told the cops it was their own faulttommcat327 wrote:THAT SUCKED.WRECKED THE MOOD AND THEY MADE ME DRIVE A BIGASS RV BACK TO MASS DRUNK

RV parking
FYI, if you're new to the RV thing, relatively few businesses are freindly to your parking over night. The exception tends to be (surprise!) WALMART, which generally tolerates it as long as you park at the distant corner.
Most rest stops, truck stops, motels, restaurants, etc. will ticket you for overnight.
Don't know about Home Depot, suggested above. You can always make some calls before the day of the show, line something up within a short distance - you'll be surprised at how many metro & suburban RV parks there are, and under $35 a nite gets you electric for the a/c - but somebody still needs to be legal to drive the short distance!
