How to build a tiki bar
I am planning on building a small tiki bar (about 5' long) with a thatch roof, on casters so I can move it around, to use outdoors. Does anyone have plans or a link to a website where I can view plans. I plan on buying the materials this week and building it over the weekend. Any help, suggestions or pictures of your bars would be helpful. Thank you.

tiki bar
I also have made plans on making a tiki bar. I came up with a simple and I mean simple design. I searched ebay for some ideas and also searched with yahoo, you can also go to the tailgating pic on this site for some ideas. I came up with some pretty good ideas. There was a lot of useful supplies on e-bay. The best thing for me was my good friend is a carpenter and agreed to help me. Good Luck...

Funny you should mention this. I was surfing around last night looking for plans to build a tiki bar. I found this site, where the guy will sell you designs ($7.50) so you can build your own.
I like the fact that these plans allow for the bar to fold up, so it would be great for the deck or tailgating.

Tiki forum
Beware: There are some *very* anti-Buffett pholks there, but most are pretty kewl people. There are some *amazing* artists that frequent the "Creating Tiki" portion of the forum.

Tiki Bar
My roommates and I actually are building one in our apartment, we didn't have any plans, just went to home depot...its amazingly sturdy and looks really nice too. I can send pics if someone wants. I kind of took a few as it was being built, but it could give an idea.
