Read last year's thread on the same topic. Often times its season ticket holders.

It's a violation of Ebay policy to sell something you don't have in your possession.

They may have them in their possession though. I had tix to the Atlanta and Tampa shows last year before they went on sale to the general public

Yes, in that case I'm sure he is selling tix he hopes to get tomorrow. By posting early, he can be higher up on the list

Not season tickets for Buffett (WOW, now that would be cool!

), but for the venue that he is playing.
Sorry, 7L types faster than me

I think these are just scalpers, who KNOW they're going to get tickets.
(Otherwise, they wouldn't be very good scalpers, would they?)
Let the righteous indignation begin...

Well, last year some NASCAR fans who were guaranteed tickets to the Bristol, TN race sold their tix on EBay
way above face value. The people at Bristol and NASCAR found out and those individuals were relieved of their yearly tickets. I wonder if this will happen with venue season ticket holders and Buffett tix? Who knows.....

I looked too. They are all floor seats, which means they could not be someone's regular season ticket seat location. The fact that they don't have row and seat numbers leads me to believe they don't have them yet and know they will be getting floor seats when they go on sale.
I wish I could be that confident! I wonder if they know something (or someone) I don't know?

Yeah, Bristol doesn't mess around with scalpers. They have a staff that watches the internet and newspapers for anyone selling race tix in excess of face value. Funny thing is, there are hundreds of people right at the gate to the speedway selling tickets for astronomical prices.

I wonder what would happen if I bought a Piggly Wiggly in my area and set up to be a Ticketmaster Outlet?????? I would say...I'm the first in line!!!!! Wonder if anyone has ever thought about this?

I'm pretty sure that happens all the time. What Piggly Wiggly cashier wouldn't take $50 to pull the first 20 tix to be spit out and stash them away for a scalper.
But I also know places have been busted for that practice.

Serious question: Colubia, SC. Even it's the best seat in the house, would a ticket really legitamately cost $225? Really. Would it? Pretend I'm an idiot.
