They may not allow tailgaiting at Charlotte, BUT....

I know that myself and my troop of roadies are gonna start partying at our hotel right across the street from the coliseum Friday night when we pull into town! And you can bet we'll be armed with our normal tailgating goods, we just may have to do the festivities inside. We'd love you all to join us

For those worried about Charlotte tailgaiting, there are plenty of businesses, hotels, and a sports bar right near the coliseum. I find it hard to believe that the Charlotte Coliseum would keep its gates closed and allow Parrotheads to flock to area businesses to party in their parking lots and leave a mess. Seems like these area businesses wouldn't be too happy about that, but I doubt they'd hire security to protect the lots. The logical thing would be to open the lots early and allow people to have fun. If not, I'll see you all in a parking lot nearby!
