I heard the CD being played in the background before I saw Jim Morris at Cabin Fever in February. It was awesome! I'm really glad to see it's available. It's really worth the money.

I picked it up at the Jim Morris show yesterday. Dave is JM's "pan man". I'll have a full report on it tomorrow.

BUY THIS CD and all of Dave's other CD's. He's GREAT (and a really, really nice person as well). He plays with such energy and grace.....look at his schedule on his website....the man hardly ever takes a day off (and when he does it's only because he's on the road with JM) JM is lucky to have Dave Lapio in his band.

Oh,
great topic!! I
love Dave Lapio and you all are going to love this album!!

Once you have this one, you can start collecting his others.

Seriously, once you give a listen to the Pan Fried Buffet(t), you need to pick up one or two CD's that are his original works. You're instantly transported by the magic sounds.

I agree, this CD is a lot of fun. Some great versions of OPH, Cuban Crime of Passion, Uncle John's Band, Volcano and, of course, Banana Wind.
Buy the CD and listen to it at your own personal tiki bar.
And then go out and see Dave with Jim Morris and the Big Bamboo Band - you'll have a blast.

PanDave is one of the best, that's for sure. His CD's are great and will make a super addition to your tropical music library.

I'm trying to.. The link to purchase is down & I emailed him about it as a heads up.
I want to order through him / NOT eBay or somewhere.. he deserves that at least IMHO

The link didn't work for me either, so I emailed him to ask how to order. He emailed back after a few hours with his address to send a check to. You should hear from him soon I would think.
I also forewarned him there was a thread on Buffettnews, so he may see an influx of inquiries.

Hi all, I am the one selling the cd on Ebay. I am a friend of Dave's and we are using ebay to help promote his music. Thanks to those who have supported Dave in the past and to the new fans as well. Please feel free to contact Dave regarding this if you wish. Also if please pass along your opinions regarding the cd to either Dave or myself. Thanks. I hope to see some of you this year either at a Jim Morris show or with Sunny Jim. Have great day!

Speaking of Jim Morris, does anyone know where you'd find a CD? No one carries them
